Audax UK Organisers - Organisers Guide
Audax UK organisers - take advantage of Entryweb's online entry and event/rider management services. Setting up your ride in an easy step by step process gradually creating your rides events page/programme enabling you to accept online entries. Entryweb also has some unique features tailored for Audax UK organisers.
Organisers can benefit by choosing to add the cost of their entrants stamps and SAE's needed to post material back to the entrant within their entry fee.
We understand it's sometimes necessary to withhold information such as maps and course data until the entrant has paid, that's why Entryweb allows you to chose what files (such as course and/or mapping information) are available to whom. By clicking the (Check this box to only allow paid entrants to view this file) box allows you to do this when you're creating your event page/programme.
Entryweb's event easy set-up process is as flexible as you need and includes all the information you'll need for your event. For example, choose when you want entries to close, add custom fields whereby you ask entrants any question(s) you like outside of the standard entry form requirements and create a course route using Entryweb's unique mapping tool plus much more.
As with all event disciplines incorporated on Entryweb the same disclaimer used on the Audax UK entry forms is replicated online requiring entrants to indicate they have read and understood the same one before entering. With all Audax UK events riders have the facility to include either their AUK licence numbers or their CTC or BC licence numbers indicating they have the appropriate insurance cover for an Audax UK event. If entrants don't have the correct insurance cover (i.e. licence) they have the choice to pay the extra fee.
As with all entries on Entryweb entrants can include a note to the organiser along with their entry. Entryweb also provides entry forms for printing if you require hard copies. If you need to have riders sign-on on the day Entryweb automatically formulates handy signing on sheets ready for you to print, each headed with the entry form disclaimer, the riders particulars and which (if any) licence number the riders have.
Entries you might still receive through the post can easily be added to your database to maintain the most complete and up to date list.
Organisers have access to all their riders' information within their management areas where rider details can be downloaded into your spreadsheet in c.s.v. format or just held safely online for reference when needed.
When entries close for your event (either by yourself anytime or when the 'close of entries date' passes) organisers can confirm their rider list by publishing a start sheet to their events page. After the event if your ride needs any kind of 'result' 'finishing list' or conformation of participation you can easily publish this to the events page too. Entryweb understand it's not normal practice for Audax UK rides to publish 'results' however the list could just indicate who actually rode or not, you can also upload any Entry on the Line (EOL) participants and indicate DNF's and DNS's to finalize a comprehensive list in any order you require.
Partnering with Entryweb also gives your riders immediate access to all events listed with us across all the different governing bodies. You in turn should gain exposure and riders that otherwise may have only stuck with CTC or BC events. Collectively Entryweb's customer base crosses every part of the sport. Why not join us online now..!
