EVENT COMMENTS
This is a new event run by the Chippenham & District Wheelers. The main race is a Women only event, open to all female categories. The second is a regular National B WXCRL counting race for men, where WXCRL members placed in the top 15 win WXCRL points. British Cycling pints are available for both races as per normal >>>>> Note that the Race HQ has ample car parking and completely separate changing facilities, with showers, for each race. It is on the B.4042 ½ mile west of the roundabout at the top (north) end of Wootton Bassett. By road, follow the A.3102 west from J.16 of the M4 to the Wotton Bassett rdbt, take the 2nd exit onto the B.4042 towards Brinkworth and Malmesbury, and the entrance into Ballards Ash Sports Ground is clearly signposted on your left in ½ mile. By train, the nearest station is at Swindon. Follow the A.3102 Great Western Way out of town west to Wotton Bassett as above (6½ miles from Station to Race HQ – an easy ride)
