EVENT COMMENTS
This is a mass start criterium race run by the new North East Criterium League. The facility will be open from 15.30pm and has car parking and changing/toilet facilities. Signing on is at the race headquarters and is open from 15.30pm. You must present your 2010 racing licence when signing on licences will be retained & returned once race numbers are returned. All Youth A riders with dispensation should register for the Regional B event. You will need to have earned 15 points and should apply to B.C. H.Q. to receive a dispensation card. Two body numbers must be worn unfolded on the left pocket and a shoulder number which must be worn on the RIGHT shoulder. Except for women, individual lapped riders must retire and remove their race numbers. In the event of a leading group of riders lapping the main field, the riders being lapped must follow the commissaires instructions. During this time, racing in the main group will be neutralised and the riders moved to the side to allow free passage of the leading group. Riders lapped in this way may continue in the race but must not aid the leading group in any way. Licence points are available in both races, riders who are eligible can ride in both races on Saturdays. Spectators are welcome please keep off circuits and obey instructions from marshals and officials. Hetton has a vending machine and toilets available to competitors and spectators.
